Beautiful baskets
These baskets are beautiful. I needed something nicer to organize my linen closet, and bought these on a whim. Glad I bought them because they look amazing and really dress up the closet. I plan on buying more for some other organization projects. 😀😀A few things to note:Some assembly is required. There are no instructions, but it is pretty straightforward and easy to do.The one side has a noticeable edge, but I turned it to the back, so no worries for me.They also have a “fresh cedar/potpourri” smell to them. I love the smell of it, but some customers may not.

I really would like they came already squared.I love the linen for pantries because is not clothe and not plastic something between so they are like liquid proof.I love they are tall enough to hide extras and fit in my pantry.

Nice baskets but small liners.
We just received our baskets today and like them a lot. But the cloth liners are way too small. They are only as high as the baskets themselves and aren’t wide enough to fold over the top (as shown in the picture). We improvised by using a tapestry needle and twine to tie the liners to the baskets at each corner. We shouldn’t have had to do that though, especially considering the price of these baskets. If they weren’t such nice baskets otherwise, we would’ve returned them.

Perfect Farmhouse Baskets
I love these baskets! I was hesitant to spend so much on baskets that had to be assembled, but I was pleasantly surprised. The baskets came packaged cute and were tied with twine. I loved the farmhouse feel from the start. The directions were easy to follow and the baskets have little metal hooks that hold the sides together. So far they have held up well and I love that there’s a removable liner. They match my decor perfectly!

Pretty good for the price
I got these baskets to use in my kitchen under a shelf. I would say they are durable enough to hold kitchen towels, placemats, tablecloths and other cloth items. I know for sure you won’t be able to fill them with heavy stuff and lift up the basket, I wouldn’t trust it. It was a little tough to put together too. Also, it doesn’t show in the picture but it comes with one cloth liner. I didn’t expect any liner at all but it only came with one and this is for 2 baskets so it makes no sense to have only one liner so I totally can’t use it. But all in all it looks attractive enough and is good for what I need it for.

Smells
I bought ten of these as laundry room organizers. Every time I pull a basket out is sheds onto the washer or dryer. The baskets also have an odd odor. It took me awhile to attribute the smell to the baskets.

Love these baskets but made my cat sick!
I love these baskets! They’re sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, and functional. I have no complaints about the baskets as they met my expectations. The only thing I wished I had known is that they could potentially make my cat sick. I put four of these baskets (so there was more odor given the number of baskets purchased) on an upper shelf of the closet where my cat has his food and litter box (so he does go in there regularly). He can’t reach these baskets but he could smell them. There was an odor but it wasn’t too overpowering from my (a human) perspective. Apparently hyacinth is toxic to cats, especially when ingested, but also can be toxic when inhaled. Within 72 hours, my cat was throwing up every few hours and couldn’t keep food or water down. He has vomited many times before, but this was a new level. It was only when I moved the baskets to the garage and aired out the closet that we saw a dramatic improvement in his health. So just fair warning – be cautious with these baskets if you have cats!

Exactly as expected
Boxes arrived on time. Easily put them together with my kindergarten child. Did have to bend the hooks on the side slightly to slide the hooks in. They were easy to bend using the scissors also used to cut the twine that neatly wrapped the boxes together.

Good, but liners are yellow, not white
The photos online make the liners look white/tan. but they are yellow, and a bit thin. Otherwise they look very nice, seem durable, and were very easy to assemble.

Just what I needed
I planned on purchasing the ones from IKEA for my Kallax shelf unit but they don’t seem to want to ship cubes by themselves to my zip code.These were just needed to fill the space for a bedroom and they work well. I think they are a little overpriced, but the packaging mentions 1% of all sales go to women and children in needed places in Vietnam and/or China so I supppse I’m willing to pay slightly more to help with that cause.Overall happy and the items look nice, seem well-made.

Does the job…
I was looking for baskets to serve as a bathroom shelf. As far as that goes, it does the job, but because it’s collapsible it feels more flimsy than I would like. It works for me though!

Pretty but I had to reinforce the bottom
I like the look of these baskets and they fit my book shelf perfectly, but I didn’t feel like the assembly was secure enough with only clasps on one side of the basket. To reinforce it, I used zip ties on the sides of the bottom, which wasn’t the easiest since the basket is woven pretty tight. It feels much more sturdy though with the zip ties. It also doesn’t come with instructions on how to assemble it. You can find instructions here in the Amazon listing, but it should be included with the actual product as well.

Messy!
These are beautiful and I’m going to order more but holy cow they are MESSY! I wasn’t expecting that and probably wouldn’t have bought them if I’d known. M Assembling them made a huge mess of shredded fibers everywhere. They also smell but I’m hopeful that will go away.

A feel good buy that’s useful.
Looked high, and low for a sustainable woven basket then found this set of 2. Been trying to be more eco/ human friendly with our purchases, and brand choices so this was a no-brainer for me. Love the quality, love that it supports in need women, and really love the feel good vibes of getting the quality basics I need for a good price while doing a tiny bit to support making positive changes in the world. I’m trying to find a reason to buy more but for now I’ll leave this review. These were a great buy for me.

These baskets are expensive, honestly too expensive but I had a gift card so for me that made it bearable. I adore these baskets and they serve the purpose but they are in my opinion too expensive. If I could have found these boxes in the same dimensions but different design I would have not bought these.

Great Baskets but…
I love these baskets! They look exactly as they appear pictured. I appreciate that they are deep so they can hold many things without any of it being visible. I was a little surprised when I first opened the package and realized I had to assemble them (I overlooked that detail when ordering). But the assembly was super easy/self explanatory since all parts of the baskets are already attached (you’re literally just unfolding them upward into a square). It’s a great feature if you ever need to transport them someplace and just want to fold them flat. Since they are self-assemble, I would recommend only placing lightweight items inside of them; not very sturdy. The absolute only thing I really, really disliked about these baskets was the smell! They have an awful strong smell that made me eventually get a room freshener which did make the room smell better, but the baskets themselves still have a strong smell. I still love them and ended up ordering a second set. They are presently in my work office but I may take them home. They are perfect for decor also.

Disappointed
Kind of disappointed… I bought three sets of this product, so 6 total baskets. One of the baskets didn’t even come with the fabric liner (I only have 5). To top it off, NONE of the liners even fit in the baskets. They are all too small to even come remotely close to folding over. They won’t even reach each side. These baskets are beautiful and I want to love them, but sadly I won’t be able to use them how I’d like without the liners.

Easy to assemble and look great!
I have a baker’s rack that I have turned into my coffee/tea bar. The bottom two shelves didn’t please me no matter what I did with them. I ordered 6 of these baskets and put 3 on each shelf. It looks amazing, giving the whole unit a totally different look. Plus as an added bonus…extra storage.

Unfortunately baskets smell really bad!
The baskets have a foul smell that I’m wondering how to get rid of! While the baskets are easy to assemble, the walls of the basket get snagged on the bottom wall as you’re building. So, when done assembling, the inside of the basket was torn a bit. I like the color and they’re sturdy enough for how much I will be using them.

Needed baskets that let me route charging cables out of the bottom corner
I needed these to sit on top of a cube holder. One is for the stuff we use as we enter and leave the house. The other holds the mess of charging cables and devices for my kids. I needed a cube that was sturdy but had an opening on the side or bottom. Since these fold up and click into shape I figured they’d work, and they do. I cut a small rectangle out of the liner, which is a polypropylene type of fabric (I like it), and routed two charging cables through it so they stick out the side of the basket edge and onto the couch where my kids use their tablets and Switch. Now power is nearby and when they’re done, they can put their devices I to the basket to charge overnight too. The baskets are durable, not too slippery, and the liners stay in place where I folded them over the sides. No slouching or falling back into the baskets. It all looks like it belongs together. It took a while to choose the right ones but I found ’em.

Wrong Size Liners
The baskets came with 2 different sized liners. Out of the 8 baskets we bought, only 4 liners were the size shown in the images. The other 4 were shorter in every dimension and wouldn’t wrap over the lip of the basket. I’m guessing that these liners might be for a different size basket. For $20/basket I would hope that the quality control for their items would be better, but I’ll update my review due to last year’s manufacturing difficulties if they will send out the correct liners in a timely manner.Update:After reaching out to the company, they sent new liners with the correct size. I update my rating to reflect.

They look great!
Bought these to use in our kitchen after renovation. They look great with the new do! Baskets are a bit on the flimsy side when we’re taking them down off the shelf, it feels sometimes like they will come apart or you’ll poke a finger through if you’re not careful. Still, they look nice and have so far survived the daily trip off the shelf. Pleased with them!Update: we’ve used these for over a year now in our kitchen and have had NO problems at all. Some are packed with relatively heavy items as well, and my original worry about their sturdiness is a distant memory. Definitely would purchase again if there’s ever a need.

I bought these bins for my farmhouse style pantry and absolutely loved them! They are thick, not flimsy at all and very easy to assemble! They do have a smell like other reviewers said, but it’s just because they are natural, it goes away with time. I’ve had them for a month now and they no longer smell like grass.My only con would be that they don’t have much of them in stock, I bought 4 just to make sure I liked them and when I wanted to purchase the other 4 I needed, they were no longer available and I would have to wait over a month. So I ended up buying a different brand that looks alike, but the quality is not even comparable to this one!

Added bookcase storage
I love how these baskets add hidden storage in a small bookcase under a dormer window. They can hold a surprising amount. I keep cat toys in one and odds and ends in the other one that would otherwise be cluttering up the room. There’s still plenty of space in both as they’re big baskets and hold a good amount. Took just a minute to assemble and they’re very sturdy. A great purchase!

Infested? unclear.
Shortly after receiving these, we began seeing these millipedes around the shelf where we are using the baskets. They are Greenhouse Millipedes. We investigated where they could be coming from for a couple of days, and this morning found more in the same spot, so, my husband threw the baskets away. These millipedes are common vegetation eaters, and we have no other source they could have come from other than these. They were lovely, but nope – not welcome in the house. I will be requesting a refund.Updated 9/27/2019: Pest control and other sources tell me it is unlikely that the source of our millipedes was the package. Therefore, I updated my rating. Perhaps just a coincidence? We’ve never seen these in the house before and it was just in the days following delivery that they appeared…. I would say, though, take precaution before bringing anything organic (plant material) from overseas into your home.

NOT made of grass, but I’m not mad about it
If you were hoping for the rough, tough feeling of actual hand-woven seagrass, don’t get these. It’s obviously plastic. It’s not immediately obvious, but get close or touch them and you can tell. However, I’m not really mad about it because I can put these on the floor and not be concerned about them absorbing spilled liquid or (doggie-type accidents). They look good, were easy to assemble, and are very sturdy. I would just say that if you’re really looking for authentic grass texture and look, these aren’t for you.

Cool basket, just the right size – inconsistent coverage and weird smell
Edit: because of customer support and outreach, adding a star. My review below doesn’t change but the customer service team for this product was wonderful.These baskets are nice. They fit right into my shelves and I can store many things in them.The major issue I am having with them is the weird smell. It smells kind of chemical-like and it is not pleasant and quite strong. I thought it would air out but it has not in about 2 weeks.Another issue that I didn’t like is that not all the end connections are covered, so it can really only have once side. See the pics – one side of the basket the handle is covered, on the other side it is exposed wire on the bottom. This is not a major issue for me as the other side is against a wall, but I kind of expected it to not have “bald” spots

Nice baskets, very durable
I needed a replacement for plastic bins I had been using in a cube storage shelf to collect recycling. The plastic bins kept cracking, but these have held up really well, and they look nicer too. I wash the liners every so often, and also hose the baskets outside and air dry when I need to clean them.

These (literally) stink
So, firstly I’m 38 weeks pregnant and being near these baskets makes me feel like I’m gonna throw up. They stink. I don’t know if there’s some treatment they’re sprayed with or what but it’s horrible. I had to sit them outside because I could smell them even from across the whole living room. Definitely won’t be using these for baby storage……but I probably wouldn’t have been able to anyway because the bottom is just held in place by the bottom piece sitting on top of a few protrusions in the side pieces, so I doubt these baskets could hold any sort of weight either.They look nice…but “100% natural” and worth 50 bucks? Absolutely not.

Wood Flakes and Splinters
These baskets are lovely and look great, but the wood flakes off quite easily and leaves little wood splinters everywhere. If you are using this for storage/decoration and only plan to pick them up and move them around from time to time… no big deal. But if you are going to mess around with these frequently putting things inside and taking them out often, the splintering will probably drive you crazy.

I love these baskets. I ordered them twice. I just moved into a new home and they just took care of a lot of odds and ends that still don’t have a home. However, I can think of a millions ways I will want to use them. They are sturdy, so easy to assemble, and to me they have a very light scent that makes me happy and reminds me of outdoors and freshness. Who knows, I think I just made myself think of ordering a few more!! Love these baskets and the folks that made them.

Flimsy…
I purchased this product to store bathroom materials on a high shelf. I thought the foldability of the basket would make it a versatile product to have, since I could fold it and put it away if I didn’t need it. However, the folding mechanism on one of the baskets was faulty – the hook was bent so much that it wouldn’t latch on. The other basket folded out fine, but be aware that if you’re reaching for the baskets from below, and you push on the bottom of the basket, nothing is holding the bottom down except for whatever you put into the basket.I plan on returning the baskets and purchasing ones that aren’t foldable, to ensure sturdiness.

Super cute but faulty
The boxes are beautiful in our play room and we have intentions to buy more, however if you need these because of the insert, they will not work. The insert is too small and will not fold over the box. We folded them down inside. The hinges to put them together are durable to the point I had to use pliers to adjust the hook.

Crumbly Mess Beneath These -IT’s a NO
I was really excited about these, because I bought a rack to put on the counter between the two sinks in the MBA, in lieu of having custom cabinetry built. These were the perfect size, seem sturdy enough, I was going to wire the bottom together but I wanted to see if they fit first and I’m so glad I did, because it is a crumbly mess every single time you pull the basket in or out. Little particles of seagrass and sawdust make piles on your counter. I suppose if you used them outside you would not care, but wherever you put these, you’re going to have little seagrass sawdust piles and particles of the basket every time you move them. So they are going back – oh and BTW they are so super super duper expensive. So I found these instead, and they are amazing and sturdy and 1/4 the price.
